SOURCED CBD

Crafted from premium hemp clones grown on their family-owned nursery in Southern California, Sourced began formulating small batch CBD oil tinctures for friends and family in 2019. They soon discovered a market flooded with white-label products – oil purchased in bulk from a variety of wholesalers, combined with fillers, and marketed in pretty packaging by unscrupulous opportunists.

Dwyer PR was tasked with developing a visual identity, state-compliant packaging, and direct-to-consumer marketing strategy to launch the new brand’s e-commerce platform and communicate their source-conscious approach.

 
 
 
 
 
 

OUR APPROACH

After an exhaustive study of the near infinite amount of hemp and cannabis brands on the market, a soft & soothing visual palette was developed to complement the calming effects of CBD and sun-drenched Southern California origins. We were also conscious to create a flexible logo suite & branding system – with a color palette and visual hierarchy representing water, earth, and sun – that could be used in various applications across socials as needed.

With an emphasis on “the source,” our communications playbook highlights people, partners, plants & good vibes to bring our vision to life. And similar to how fine-dining or the wine industry have embraced the the encyclopedic origins of their offerings in recent years, this emphasis on “origins” further differentiates Sourced as a legitimate, luxury health & wellness product.

We have served as Sourced’s agency of record since the brand’s inception, creating and launching their website and e-commerce platform, in addition to continuing to managing their brand, socials and marketing efforts.
